A brief history of the lodge starts on June 26, 1913, when the lodge was constituted. Only one person was admitted during the World War I period of 1917-1918. During the depression of 1930, the lodge refreshments were curtailed to the presentation of an apple to each member. The building you see today had a ground breaking on September 28 1969 and the first regular meeting was held on September 14 1970. As always, we welcome men to visit our lodge and see the vast history in our local community.
We have a large dinning hall (tables and chairs) with a complete kitchen that is available for your parties or meetings. Easy access parking is plentiful; complete with Handicap parking spaces. It is well lit and easy to get to from any direction. There is a large coat area inside that makes winter meetings a joy. We do not allow alcohol or smoking in the lodge so that it will be a pleasant experience for all involved. Please contact us by phone or email on details for renting our hall.
We are involved in assisting the local Moon/Coraopolis Township Police and Fire Departments with both donations and support. The Boy Scouts of America also holds a close place in our hearts. Several members of our Fraternity work closely with the Boy Scouts. The Rainbow Girls have counted on us for support and we always try to respond. If you or someone you know needs a helping hand, our contact information is available by E-mailing our Secretary.
